Egg Clearinghouse Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation that is nationally recognized as an exchange to help determine and establish the market value for eggs and egg products. This is known as “Price Discovery”. Through our auction style of utilizing bids to buy and offers to sell, the trading levels at ECI help determine prices on the wholesale level. Through the Price Discovery System, ECI’s trading ensures fair market prices for its’ membership and for the entire egg industry. ECI trades numerous categories of eggs and egg products which aid the membership in the marketing of their inventories – be it longs or shorts.
ECI is a third party industry organization governed by an elected Board of Directors and Executive Committee comprised of industry professionals.
